ALARM  SYSTEMS

WHY SHOULD I HAVE AN ALARM ?

To have piece of mind and be safe in the knowledge that your home or business is protected and offers a visual deterrent to the opportunist burglar.

HOW COMPLICATED ARE ALARMS ?

Alarms nowadays are very customer friendly - each alarm is specified to the customers individual needs.  The alarm is designed around the customer - not the customer around the alarm.

WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR ALARMS ?

The alarm itself should be installed to BS 4737, the actual equipment varies according to the customers individual needs.  A basic system requires a control panel, door contacts, passive infra-red detectors and an internal and external siren with strobe light.

WHAT TYPE OF ALARMS ARE AVAILABLE ?

1. Audible or Bells only system.

2. Monitored Alarm - There are two types:

a)  Digital Communicator

This system offers a link to an Alarm  Receiving Centre who will alert the keyholder and relevant authorities in the event of an alarm activation.  The digital communicator is connected to an existing - or preferably - to a new ex-directory out going calls only line.

b) Redcare

Redcare offers the most secure form of alarm signalling available. In addition to the same as the digital communicator, this system will continuously monitor the BT line that links your alarm system to the Alarm Receiving Centre 24 hours a day - 365 days a year.
