CCTV allows your home or business premises to be watched 24 hours a day.  Most commercial premises find that CCTV is a good deterrent against shop lifting, vandalism and safety in the workplace.  In domestic premises it is excellent for identifying callers before allowing them access.

WHAT TYPES OF CCTV ARE THERE ?

FOR DOMESTIC CCTV ?

Kits are now available for very simple connection to your TV or your existing aerial system.  When one or more cameras are connected you can identify who is at your door without leaving your chair.

FOR COMMERCIAL CCTV ?

BELFAST ALARMS can offer a full range of cameras, monitors  and video recorders for any type of premises including factories, offices, shops and even farms. Most commercial applications would be videoed with a tome lapse recorder for evidence and/or identification of who has been on your premises and what has occurred.

POTENTIAL OF CCTV ?

With modern technology it is now possible to have CCTV systems monitored at an Alarm Receiving Centre via a system called ADPRO which enables the ARC to view the activity at the property when either the alarm has been triggered or the detectors linked to the CCTV are triggered.  For this type of system an ISDN telephone line would be required for correct operation.
